Pandora, you asked "Tell me if you can understand the logic...". It's pretty simple. If 85% of the population is vaccinated and if you thought vaccinations did nothing you would expect 85%of the deaths would occur in vaccinated people. In fact it is only 58%. Then if you had listened carefully you would hear that they defined vaccinated people as those who had received at least their first round of vaccinations. So we know many in that sample might not have had a vaccination in over a year! This single vax'd group has very little protection. That is why as time passes the death rate among those vaccinated only once will increase as their protection progresses to close to zero as time passes. Those who believe that vaccinations are helpful understand that follow up vaccinations are important in having ongoing protection. That's why they are suggesting people get re-vaccinated.
