My cell phone spends 90% of it's time sitting on my kitchen counter and that is about 20 feet away from me so I don't hear it when it rings. I take it along when I go for my walk in case someone runs me down. I send at least two texts a month to my daughter and receive about the same. The only phone calls I get are pretty much all spam and I usually don't hear them to answer so usually

I might add that my data plan is for zero gigabits so I don't really connect to anything while I am out although the "cell phone service" itself may be connecting to the towers. Not techy enough to understand it all from a tracking point of view -- not to say that I really care at this point.
