looks like they are on the bid finally at a whopping 7.5.....that says it all to me, maybe they'll bump it up to the incredibly high 8.0 eh......speaks volumes about the confidence in the stock

Please note, that NCIB can not set the market price, meaning they cannot chase asks with bids. The bid has to be placed under the VWAP. So anyone hoping to see PI Financial get this price up is sadly mistaken. Best they can do is hope MediCall seller sells lower than the current offering. Cheers.

Not exactly right Also, purchases made pursuant to an NCIB cannot be made at a price which is higher than the last independent trade of a board lot of the class of securities which is the subject of the NCIB. So it was last traded at 8.5 the bid could be moved there and then 9 and so on so yes it can increase price ifr they want it to

More tidbits.....it is possible to increase share price ARC believes when large dislocations exist between the share price and the intrinsic value of the business, like today, an NCIB can increase shareholder value and per share growth in the business.

To be fair... The last few times we saw PI on the bids, the results weren't that great. I remember quite a few dumps from anon. And of course so continuing it's downward trend. Personally, I'm expecting more of the same. What happened to the rollout? SG3579

That's kind of my point.....first though we don't know if heavy sell pressure will come with this 18 million buy back, yes the first one was filled easily by selling into the bid....my point is if DM wants to show some confidence at least put the PI bid at the highest possible value and move it even higher when allowed....I have no clue if dumping will occur this time around but placing
