Also, purchases made pursuant to an NCIB cannot be made at a price which is higher than the last independent trade of a board lot of the class of securities which is the subject of the NCIB.

So it was last traded at 8.5 the bid could be moved there and then 9 and so on so yes it can increase price ifr they want it to
