According to the president of the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers Association, Canada will need 4 million charging stations by 2050, 80 times higher than the 50,000 currently targeted.

Not only that, as technology improves these will need to be changed a number of times over that period to meet new performance and reliability requirements. This said, in the long run I'd prefer seeing DMEVS develop more of a SaaS approach - limiting infrastructure management costs - and, perhaps, sell the business all together, at an interesting premium, at some point in time.
