I'm out - good luck everyone
I turned sceptical about DOC when Shoppers made the decision to go with Maple in BC. And then Rexall also went with someone else.
My sense is that although this will be a huge area, it is easy for competitors to get into it. One of our kids was sick a few weeks ago and we needed a dial-a-doctor. There are tons of "places" you can go. I had an appointment with Appletree for 15 minutes later. CloudMD was for the next morning. But my wife got a doctor on the phone even before the Appletree appointment time.
If CloudMD had landed Shoppers that would have given it a tangible advantage over competitors in terms of name recognition and free advertising. But without Shoppers?
Dumb luck for me that I was able to come out modestly ahead. I lost $$ on the common shares after they dipped a few weeks ago but I had quite a few warrants that I was despairing of ever being able to sell and then all of a sudden they went for their moonshot over the past week. Whoever was buying them at 30 cents today, well, I wish them well. It may be that I've got it all wrong.

Thx for sharing. Have to agree this is a more and more competitive sector. Next quarter results will answer how they cope against competitors. For the record, Appletree uses Tia Health as a telehealth platform...which is 33% owned by WELL

You do realize Maple and Babylon are just apps right? CloudMD and even WELL are do much more than that. Cloudmd is a patient centric system that encompasses all forms of healthcare connecting you to your doctor, pharmacist, therapists to give a complete circle of care all in one place.

I hope CloudMD does more deals like Save on Food deals in the US, and also all around the world. I see it is not just a North American company, but eventually a global company. Just me, I am not selling my stock.

Interesting. I'll consider what you say here. One of the problems I had here was that I don't live anywhere near Vancouver. I very much wanted to do the pharmacy tour but didn't consider it worth it to come all the way from Toronto.

Some people put out negative words to urge people to sell, to make stock go down, so they can buy at lower price.
