Divesting low margin non core businesses is what CEO says is their strategy. We have to wait and see how things shake out

Why not do DD? Go back and read the last 2 years PR via their website website and qtr reports.

Mistakes were made by the previous CEO (Essam Hamza). New CEO Karen Adams has only been in place since May, so she deserves at least a year to clean up the mess. In my view, the only mistake I see so far is the sale of Clould Practice (cloud-based electronic medical records and practice management software). Unless DOC was really desperate for money, this seems like a bad move as I assume it ...more

If they're not focused on clinics then why hold onto that part of ur business with low margins?

@Tuartara you said something about doing DD? Hamza went into insane asset grab, acquiring via dilution. He wanted to have foot everywhere. Buying CP, in his vision, he would step in BC and also have clinics he would impose his EMR and other software products. CP was also rnd test field, .. he though here is the app, and here is a proof of concept on these clinics.. hoping rest of the market will ...more

I'm not arguing the point just asking folks to go due DD. I agree Hamza made mistakes however, I think if we are reasonable in understanding what DOC has built ie it's patented interoperable platform, all of the puzzle pieces contributed in its design and buildout. What remains imo is, who will buy it? SunLife bought some of it so, who will step up as DOCs first whole patient client ...more

Agreed . Why sell a key part of their propietary software described as the "technology backbone of their Kii platform"  to Well Health Services, only to have Well licence it back and earn revenue ? There must be some pieces of the puzzle we're missing ......
