Quarterly results - Not good, again.

Negative EBITDA and a convenant breach shows the company couldn't survive on its own.  They don't even make enough to pay interest costs and you can't forget about the premises lease payments that are not included in EBITDA so their cash flows are even more negative.

If it weren't for the equity raise related to the acquisitions, I don't know where the company would be.  I'm suprised at the strike/exercise price of the options and warrants - may as well value them at $0 so you don't need to worry about dilution.

End of February will show the Q3 results and the operations before the acquistion have been softer than in Q2 and Q4 is historically the worst quarter, so to wait until next summer for the full financials is not something to get excited about.

I'm curious to know the profitability of the acquisitions, but think that the SP will go to 0.50 - 1.00 before it reaches 2.00 again (another share consolidation will do the trick!). I still don't see how there's any equity value here.  Good luck to those who are still in this. You'll need it.

Old news, nothing to do with yesterdays sell-off.
Comment by screamer99 on Dec 09, 2021 12:14pm
I wasn't trying to explain the sell-off, although I wouldn't call it that. My point is don't be surprised if the SP declines by half or more once Q4 and Q1 results are released. I posted a few months ago that I expected for it to reach these levels and here we are. More declines to come between now and next fall. I'll keep quiet until then. Ascribing value to this because of a ...more

No skin in the game, no plan to buy equals a basher or a moron with way too much time on his hands.  Why would you care to comment?  Run out of reruns to watch? Of course Lassonde owning a large portion of shares and acquiring more shares is important.  Nice you can just discard that fact.....it isn't meaning less.   Takascy continues to own and promote this stock ...more

I'm neither. Owned it in the past, but don't see the appeal now.  Let's see who the morons are next summer. How have your year to date returns been? Lassonde acquiring more shares? It was a forced debt conversion to have more equity because teh debt to equity ratio wouldn't be something the bank could support. Why do you think Lassonde invested in debt in the first place? Again, what is the agenda here?  You sold and you don't like the company yet you come back here to comment on the board negatively regularly.  What is the point? Enjoy typing?  That is what sociopaths and nut jobs do.  You have no skin in the game, go comment on the Largo board....it is tanking as well.   My average cost is $1.30 (13 cents).  I am quite ...more

The pot calling the kettle black? What's with your numerous posts on WCP? Listen to your own advice - You don't like the company yet you come back here to comment on the board negatively regularly.  What is the point? Enjoy typing?  That is what sociopaths and nut jobs do.  You have no skin in the game". Between WCP, which I own, and Largo, let's see where DWS ...more

WCP is a company in decline as are all oil producers.  They will lose long term.  A guy on their was trashing another sustainable company I own.  I put in my two cents. Plus I was shorting WCP and I will short it again if it goes to anywhere near $8.    That is called having skin in the game.   So basically, you are still a nut job and you need a hobby instead ...more

You said 20 cents....tell me your short.  If you think this stock is going to 20 cents, short it and post it you piece of shite.  You won't because you are a coward with no money.
Comment by screamer99 on Dec 26, 2021 3:00pm
I don't have a position in this (and don't need one to have a view on where the stock is going). Shorting is a great idea - not something that was possible just a little over a month ago. My posts contain reasoning and yours, insults. Like I said, I'll be back in August. Good luck until then. With your call on oil companies' demise and long position in DWS, I'd make some ...more

Of course, no balls screamer.  We can call him that from now on.  He has no position in this stock, really no interest in this stock , but like a psychopath, he comments on the board and tries to scare people because he loves "informing" you.  Yeah, he is a real wealth of information.

Im still watching from the sidelines. Not taking sides here but it looks like consolidation has killed trading of this like most consolidated stocks.....It will be interesting what Takacsy will say next time he is on BNN. I dont see a buy-out coming anytime soon.

I dont think DWS was discussed last time, they do get to pick and choose the calls. I think he may be laying low on this one.
Comment by RayDonovan78 on Jan 20, 2022 3:44pm
As I thought, DWS has been swept under the rug for now.
Comment by diamondlessnono on Jan 24, 2022 12:43pm
It wouldn't of matter if he talk about DWS, All markets are down. We all been here before. Patience cause theres nothing we can do about it.

If you followed the stock, It alway has a short lived  bump up when Takacsy mentions it....Still sitting on the sides as it seems there is no love for this one.

Today when Mr. Takacsy talk about DWS he was all smiles

He is the 2nd or 3rd largest holder just under 10%. The problem is that after consolidation there is no trading volume which scares off alot of investors.
Comment by Cdnmate23 on Mar 09, 2022 7:29pm
And when a person with that size of position states it is 'likely' to be taken out, private or otherwise at a much higher valuation it isn't being speculative.  This is a hold until the story plays out, mind the low volume it's inconsequential.
Comment by screamer99 on Mar 12, 2022 9:44am
Debbie Downer here - EBITDA was slightly negative in Q3 and will likely be negative again in Q4 which you've heard from me months ago. Who would want to buy a business with little to no profits at a SP that is overvalued? S.T. clearly has a bias because he owns it. He's trying to play it up because he wants to dispose of it. Have you seen his website? He hasn't even published his Q4 ...more

Wish I had an argument against your comments so as to maintain some positive vibes but I don't. IMHO it's obvious S.T. is goiing to pump this up to protect his position.  I don't blame him but we should all be aware and not follow his baseless attempts to pump the price. Attempts are short lived and meaningless without some metrics to validate his comments of being in " ...more

Low trading volume is a clear sign there is ZERO interest in the market.
Comment by dogatcat on Dec 02, 2021 10:21am
There is still value here oterwise Lassonde would be gone.  DWS will eventually become the grocery wine selling arm of Lassonde. Right now there are only approximately 450 stores selling beer/cider/wine.  The number of actual wine selling grocery locations is still tiny in Ontario - maybe 150 locations.  All of the grocers want wine offerings but the LCBOs are scared crapless of ...more
