"The Government of the Republic of Ecuador has made the decision to diversify its national production base, and it has defined key strategic sectors, including the mining sector, that will be prioritized and developed in the country to achieve the objectives of the plan. Ecuador´s participation in PDAC 2015 as a sponsor will be an important addition and will provide companies and governments with new options and high potential projects. This new vision is aimed at making the mining industry one of the main economic engines of the country, with studies already carried out identifying current and potential mining areas that will be ready for operation in the near future."
This is a big deal. I know I'll be there. EGX couldn't be better positioned to benefit from this type of campaign. As well, it wouldn't be the first time major news was timed to correspond with the PDAC, if we get news about the PEA and any possible interest or negotiations that are underway.
