Aura International Services Ltd.

I spoke with IR today. Thought the info on Aura, EGX’s major shareholder was worth sharing. I knew EGX had support from the large families in Ecuador, but I didn’t realize how much support.

Aura is owned by the wealthiest or second wealthiest family in Ecuador. As I mentioned in my top ten reasons why I like EGX, (https://www.stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard/v.egx/ecuador-gold-and-copper-corp?postid=22504662) having support from the wealthy locals is very important when dealing in Ecuador (and much of South and Central America). As far as I can tell, it is Aura’s only mining investment. Aura also has excellent Chinese connections.

The company will not be doing any more drilling until the PEA comes out, just a lot of mapping and exploration work. There is no point in further drilling as the engineering firm has enough to work with at this point. I take this as a confirmation that it isn’t about the resources, but about getting better copper extraction numbers.

Watching Level II is encouraging as the bids keep increasing as the asks keep decreasing. Although there is a fair bit of institutional interest, until the PEA comes out, they probably won't be participating in a big way. I can see this thing climbing slowly but surely throughout the summer based on retail investors waking up to the real value of this project and spreading the word.

From your list of top 10 things you like about EGX, the obvious answer to your number 6 is that management should be concerned about North American investors in order to get fair (maximum) market value in the event of any eventul buyout. Otherwise, you're just set for a cheap lowball offer with fewer alternatives. 6/ EGX doesn’t appear to be too concerned about North American investors. Why ...more

Of course we'd all like more support from North American institutions, but I've been there with Corriente and I've seen how much time and effort can go into trying to lead that particular horse to water. When gold confirms a breakout and the PEA is released showing economic copper recoveries, they will get involved in a big way, but until then, the company appears to be doing what they ...more

This one is definitley a waiting game. I might pick up some more shares later this summer. Currently have a small position. Everything looks good though! I sure hope the PEA is as good as I think it will be. This could make everyone a lot of money :) Very undervalued right now

V.ENA is on the move. When will EGX move?

The moment they release the PEA or tell us exactly WHEN the PEA will come out... but I don't think the expected release of the PEA will hold much weight anymore. Delay after delay. Like crying wolf at this point. Anybody have any ideas how long till the PEA might finally be done? 3 months? 6 months? Is it possible they could be bought out before the PEA is released (I doubt it)?
