Electra Battery Materials Corp. V.ELBM

Alternate Symbol(s):  ELBM

Electra is building North America’s only fully integrated, localized and environmentally sustainable battery materials park, which will host cobalt and nickel sulfate production plants, a large-scale lithium-ion battery recycling facility, and battery precursor materials production, to become a reliable supplier to both North American and global EV and battery supply chains.

RE:FCC Studies Battery Recycling

RE:FCC Studies Battery RecyclingThis is great news for investors although not much of a surprise if you've been following and keeping up with Trent's hints and comments in previous releases. But something to definitely bring in more interest from those that haven't. I think this puts FCC in an amazing position over other options, especially to investors scared of cobalt getting completely phased out of the EV game (which I don't believe will happen anytime soon).
With many manufacturers in markets across the board trying to brag about their carbon footprint, the answer is to show pride in using recycled materials. I don't see that being any different in the upcoming wave of EV manufacturing. Having the recycling circut being integrated into the primary refinery and run by the same team as apposed to keeping it seperate would allow for a smooth transition from refining to recycling if they ever had to... keeping FCC at the very least relevant in even the worst case scenario for the future of cobalt. Not to mention the possibilities for best case.
Should help with a good push in price as we approach opening the doors.
