August news

From the latest release

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Intention to move directly to an expansion scenario and conduct pilot plant work at third party facilities, saving millions of dollars and generating stronger returns for shareholders.     I still believe this to be Tesla.  
  • Optimization studies for the Refinery Project are advancing, with significant opportunities identified to lower operating costs.   BASF have been very agressive positioning themselves in the cobalt market and could offer a lot of help here so who knows....
  • Financing discussions are entering phase two, with proposals under review with First Cobalt financial advisor CIBC.   Looking forward to the next updateA lot of possible players.  I'm hoping FC don't box themselves in by putting too many eggs in one basket.  Flexibity to move forward in the future should be a consideration.

While I would love for this to be the case, I don't think Trent has that good of a poker face. He loves Tesla (drives one in fact) and if they were involved he would have atleast said there was exciting news ahead, as those were his exact words a few months ago; in contrast, he was quite subdued and understated in his most recent video update.  And as for their being potentially a lot of ...more

Not Showing his pokerface.. kind of like last week in that subtle tweet when on way to the refinery? Personally i believe the refinery gets funded regardless of tesla as it would be North Americas introduction to the their own source of refined cobalt. We shall see by the end of august i imagine . Good or bad

I hope your right, but given Musk's very public anti cobalt stance unfortuantely I do not see a day when he will associate himsle with a company that actually has cobalt right in its name.
