hello from the Big Guy.

hello all. I bought about $12k worth of shares in the 0.60's in October of 2017. I am usually a long-term holder so I watched this fall and am watching it come back up. I sold some other lithium ones I had, like SLL.. but kept this because of the manufacturing. The only problem I foresee is the capital required to restart a plant. I am in the EPCM business and would guess it is a 50 - 100 Million dollar job. I was concerned that they would do a Reverse Split. Not sure where that stands now, nor do I understand this deal enough to valuate the stock, but it seems to provide for exellent cash flow and the restart of the plant.

They have non dilutive financing ready to go on the plant.

my concern is that it is not enough. I know they have 10 million from Ontario, and maybe 5 million from Glencore... my guess is it is not enough. Not sure what this deal does for that.

I think they have 5 mil from Glencore on the go right now with an additional 45 or 50 mil to come from Glencore.  Hopefully those terms will be announced really soon.

here is an excerpt from the May 13 news hat contains a statement abotu the CapEx. "Importantly, management is actively exploring (with Glencore's help) opportunities to enhance the refinery's flow sheet to improve upon already robust economics. In addition to a 53% IRR, the after-tax NPV(8%) of $139 million is 2.5 times upfront cap-ex of $56 million (includes a $4.2 million ...more

Trent discussed how he is trying to get financing without diluting shares by carrying more debt. He has mentioned he has been talking with banks (most likely CIBC) for business loans. As mentioned before, Glencore is willing to lend up to 65 million which is more than enough to complete the refinery. The Canadian and Ontario governments already knew that Fcc will get the financing which is why ...more

I think you understand what Trent has envisioned for FCC very well King koopa. He has openly admitted that the share structure currently isn't great and that it needs to be fixed when the time is right. But this isn't Trent's first rodeo so he won't be putting the company or SP at risk by doing the reverse split too hastily. In my opinion, things are falling into place very nicely ...more

When First Cobalt becomes a supplier of many GIga battery factories in North America in the coming years they won't need to fix the float and may instead choose share buybacks.

Seems to me I heard a rumor, Biden has promised billions of federal dollars will go into anything green in the next 4 years, so I don't find it hard to imagine several new battery makers built and up and running with fcc contracts to supply them right about the time the refinery is commisioned.

Usually I don't post in here since last 15 years, just let you people know this one will be a very good stock to own.
