Interesting how all the media talks about wrt sustainability is energy and not the raw materials to make the batteries. TM has stated they may set up another refinery in the Becancour industrial park, but so far just lip service. As a shareholder it is very frustrating to be kept in the dark about the current refinery that is wallowing, never mind another one. What is the plan? Where is the cobalt

Starkicker I agree with your sentiments. If you look across the board you will see all kinds of mining stocks with proven reserves etc and they remain non producing penny stocks. Mostly I think because governments are the driving force behind the EV push as in ramming this down our throats.  Business in general is sceptical, lenders are holding tight and we all know our governments are

Yes, I also received the AGM notice in the mail.... I was perhaps hoping there would be positive news at the AGM and also was hoping Trudeau would give us good news -- but his announcement was all focused on Northvolt, and no one else in the industry... ELBM stock is down again today... when will it end??

As soon as this management team gets ousted.  You got the proxy material for the AGM?  Use it.  Fill it out.  Mail it in.  Make the change.

I did take this quote from Trudeau to be positive. It implies there will be capabilities upstream from EV battery manufacturing to supply these companies with refined cobalt. Who else will be capable other than Electra? This is a historic and transformative announcement," Trudeau told the crowd Thursday, saying the investment will bring "end-to-end battery manufacturing" to Canada.

Two things. Trudeau has promised all kinds of money all over the place and has delivered very little to anything Canadian.  If defeated in an election which hopefully will happen soon there will be a sober second look at the EV space. Not saying it will be dead just something realistic.  There are other refiners rapidly heading towards production. The only fully permitted refinery is

I guess if the media had an idea of how to do their job somebody might have asked Trudeau what he meant about "end-to-end battery production" because, yeah, otherwise just words and no action. Idk, man, too much  BS with this company. I'm just going to ignore it for a couple of years in my portfolio and come back to it later.
