The Ontario Government is working very hard to get the “Ring of Fire’ area opened up in the James Bay area (roads, railways, mines). This ROF area, I would think, would have many more environmental concerns than GCU’s Springpole Lake gold deposit. That said, I believe that both of these areas will be future mines, because the Ontario Government wants these big projects to stir the economy in Northern Ontario AND, these mining companies have an environmentally friendly attitude about them. This industry has come a long ways.
