Folks, A very serious question here.  Results are fantastic and grades are superb but in the freakish, unfair world we live in today that is ran by Nazi Environmentalists, Carbon Tax NWO idiots,  NGO's, First Nations profiteers and governments tax hounds, what is the real chance of this land package getting permitted. Seriously, that's where everything lies when it  ...more

This is an identity created on 6/20/12 seemingly purpose-built to ask this obviously disingenuous rhetorical question. If the shorts are back like this it must be a good time.

I'm not a short for Christ sake.  i ask a question that has real merit and is the difference between this stock staying at $1.40 or going to $5.00.  Now do you have an answer to the question or are you going to flap your gums just to sound like one of the boards smart a**'s engaging in meaningless chatter. it does not matter that I created my handle two hours ago or two years ago ...more

In the past bashers have, as they do in venues like this, come on with false identities to either make it appear that there are more people negative on the stock than there actually are, or because they have been ignored by so many for ridiculous comments. In the case of this company, they almost always touch on the issues that you mention in your post, which in my opinion are just red herrings ...more

Geospot, Thanks for the reasoned response, that wasn't so hard.  I do understand how troll's, bashers and shorts can make one suspect of questions that may be hard to answer or portrays a company in a bad light. I completely agree that GCU is posting magnificent drill results.  As you have said management is top notch for sure and this bodes well for the future. This company has ...more

Vortex,  you must know that many of the same permitting hurdles apply to any new mine. It takes years and there's always risks along the way, and, this isn't the first mine to gain approval that involves a lake. Look at Osisko getting approval to move a whole town! Gold Canyon has the repect of the local council, and I'm certain they realize the potential for jobs and ...more

Money, All very good point's.  Yes there are no guarantees' in life but as you stated as things stand here today the future look's very promising for Gold Canyon. I also agree that it may take years for the permitting process to be finalized but that is apart of the journey.  Additionally I agree that GCU is now and will continue to be a prime candidate for a take over.& ...more

Vortex, This is an interesting venue and I watch these boards because occasionally good information pops up and there are some very smart people here (idiots and trolls, too).  However, I don't rely in the main on this kind of information for investment decisions. I have done my due diligence in a much more direct fashion on all the issues you mention, which includes having Springpole ...more

Moneysworth-- Amen. There are several ways that exploration companies create value, and finding gold is not the only one of them. Any progress GCU can make with the PEA, permitting, roads or agreement with the council will rapidly add value and make the company a more attractive target for majors. They have stated that there is progress on all these fronts. And in certain cases it is advantageous ...more

Vortex-- Muchos gracias. Glad you stirred up a spirited discussion. I've got to get back to milking the goats now.

Geospot: The Ontario Government is working very hard to get the “Ring of Fire’ area opened up in the James Bay area (roads, railways, mines). This ROF area, I would think, would have many more environmental concerns than GCU’s Springpole Lake gold deposit. That said, I believe that both of these areas will be future mines, because the Ontario Government wants these big projects to stir the economy ...more

20/20/12, I have been called a clown before but I've never been called a clone. Thanks for adding exactly ZERO to the GCU debate and any company specific information. V

Hi, I just saw a reference to Bob Moriarity. I made 100k in one day on a prior tout of his.  He might like Canstar   It is DIFFERENT than all the other  mining stories  because of the litigation and   quiet  stock  Do you know how to get Moriartity to talk to Harry? Kevin
