RE:RE:RE:We need better information on competition I agree Paul has said several times that both plastic shopping bags and single use plastic water / beverage bottles are so heavily commoditized that it makes no sense to attempt to compete in that space.
I would rather them sell 10,000 of something and make $0.025 profit per item than sell 40,000,000 shopping bags and make nothing. I assume there not buying the high speed extruders for their decor so no doubt they're working on lines of business that drive profitability.
It would be so great to see a PR one morning about a deal with a major grocery chain, or a supplier to a major grocery chain. All those plastic bins in the pre-washed salad section - spinach, spring mix, etc, they're right up our alley.
Some day, it's going to happen.
