Easily Mining This Kind of DepositI have been looking at the areas where the ore is and it will be relatively easy to mine the wider, high grade areas of this deposit. Half way up the surebet is a thick band of ore. They can ramp in and then shrink stope the wider high grade areas.
This will cut the volume in half or more but will make for a profitable operation. The whole shears will not be profitable.
So if we cut the volume down by 80 percent it still leaves 2 to 3 million ounces of very profitable ounces that we know about. That is ten years worth of work.
After the Gravy has been taken the moderate grades and widtths can be looked at as the ramps and ore shutes will have been paid for. Those area may become profitable when the developement costs are already taken care of. That is how mines work.
