Grande Portage Resources Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the Herbert gold discovery situated approximately 25 kilometers (km) north of Juneau, Alaska. The Company holds a 100% interest in the Herbert property. The Herbert Gold property system is open to length and depth and is host to at least six main composite vein-fault structures that contain ribbon structure quartz-sulfide veins. The Herbert Gold project is an exploration stage, partially drill-tested, high-grade, gold mineralized mesothermal quartz vein system in the historic Juneau Gold Belt of southeast Alaska. The project lies prominently within the 160 km long Juneau Gold Belt, which has produced over seven million ounces of gold. The project consists of 91 unpatented mining claims, located 25 km north of Juneau and to the south of Couer Alaska's profitable Kensington gold mine.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Well at least Eric thought results were good!Ya, the bar was set pretty high with last year. I'd be happy with 250-300k this year. I doubt this will be mined open pit though. Too much strip on the way down. Long hole more likely. Back to ounces, the high grade step out could do it's part in adding ounces. It might take a few holes inbetween to get counted though. If I remember right, it takes 50m meters apart for inferred. Narrow 6 gram doesn't impress me much though. The high grade does. Just some very rough, non geo, back of the napkin scratching here... if we were are talking a 2m @ 6g 50 m step out figuring 25m each way from the hole that's 50m by 50m by 2m. So 5000m squared. Let's just guess 2.75 for a specific gravity makes 13750t or about 2650 ounces for my very rough guess at an addition to inferred. Even if I'm barely in the ballpark here it's going to take those high grade hits to add ounces this year.
