Although it has a lot of stock out you could see them starting to line things up last year after the departure of the previous pres. I understand he got headhunted by Kinross for his latin american skills. Bringing Juilio and Fisher onboard was a pretty strong signal that people who understand exploration were betting on the DR projects. This should add significantly towhat they already have. I won't be surprised to see them top a million ounces this year.
Looks like loading up in the fall was a great idea for those that took advantage. I usually don't pay a lot of attention to the writers but did manage to get absolutely creamed by a Ralston/Grandich pick that was my tax loss for last year. BMR seems to get in a bit to early but I'll admit they have dug up some gems and and waiting on the pops have been profitable. They seem to stay on top of things more than some of the others.
I like the way GQC structured the Spain deal getting 30% of PAX. It will be interesting to see what happens when pax moves to the tsx. I was a bit surprised GQC didn't keep it internally but it looks like management believes the DR is going to be worth the focus. So fare so good. I focus a lot on management and I think this management team will do great things if we give them time...300% today is a good start. GLTA
