We are struck by the amalgamation of comments, writings, newspaper articles, messages on social networks, radio and television interviews that the Los Romeros mining project, located in the San Juan province, has provoked, it is no less true that some express themselves with knowledge of cause, others just by repeating what they hear trying to be, others with altruistic intentions trying to raise their popularity of leadership succumbed in time and space.
Nor can we ignore the fact that we have reached the threshold of an electoral process and the unfortunate and insipid habit of political paternalism frequently fueled year after year seems to offer the opportunity for a preponderant issue to harangue the masses and invite them to rise up in favor of an alleged and unfounded defense of natural resources by presenting as an enemy a project that is rather the most effective ally to reduce the levels of economic imbalance that lacerates this industrious province.
Among the fallacious, vile, ill-intentioned arguments without any technical foundation that are usually promoted and disseminated by the media and that in turn lend themselves to confuse those who do not have expertise in the matter.
To clear up all doubts, insecurity and ignorance about the Romero Project, we show the public technical and coherent data based on scientific technical studies that we can prove, support and submit to analysis and evaluation that can truthfully illustrate:
For almost a decade GolQuest installed a weather station in the project area, collecting data 24 hours a day, keeping track of rainfall; Recent data in this regard show between 1,900 to 2,300 mm/year of rain. As additional information, there is constant supervision and control of environmental parameters, using as a reference not only national regulations, but also international parameters; In addition to rainfall, reviews of flows and flow rates of surface currents, hydrochemical parameters (pH, dissolved oxygen, REDOX, bacteriological controls, etc.) are carried out. Despite the Romero project, in order to achieve the opportunity to extract metals, it does not contemplate the use of water from the San Juan River, no use of dangerous chemicals, operations will be carried out underground starting at a depth of one hundred and fifty meters, we also clarify that, as long as environmental impact studies are not carried out, it is extemporaneous, ill-advised, ill-intentioned, someone with a delusion of an oracle of the future or who has complexes of a prophet who tries to decipher events of the future, it is not credible to speak or write about negative impacts on the environment, I reiterate until I have the results of an Environmental Impact study.
More than impacting, our duty is to inform, taking into account the phrase expressed by the late Chinese emperor Mao Zedong, whoever does not investigate has no right to an opinion.

Nos llama la atencin la amalgama de comentarios, escritos, artculos de peridicos, mensajes en las redes sociales, entrevistas radiales y televisivas que a suscitado el proyecto minero los Romeros ubicado en la provincia San Juan, no es menos cierto que, algunos se expresan con conocimiento de causa, otros solo por repetir lo que escuchan intentado a estar, otros con intenciones altruistas intentando levantar su popularidad de liderazgo sucumbida en el tiempo y el espacio.
Tampoco podemos soslayar que arribamos al umbral de un proceso electoral y la desacertada e inspida costumbre del paternalismo poltico alimentada de forma frecuente aos tras aos parece brindar la oportunidad de un tema preponderante para arengar las masas e invitarles a levantarse en favor de una alegada e infundada defensa de los recursos naturales presentando como enemigo a un proyecto que ms bien es el aliado ms eficaz para reducir los niveles de desbalance econmico que lacera esta laboriosa provincia.
Dentro de los argumentos falaces, viles mal intencionados y sin ningn fundamento tcnico que suelen promoverse y difundirse por los medios y que a su vez se prestan para confundir a quienes no cuentan con pericia en la materia.
Para despejar toda duda, inseguridad y desconocimiento en torno al Proyecto Romero mostramos a la ciudadana datos tcnicos y coherentes basados en estudios tcnicos cientficos que podemos probar, sostener y someter a anlisis y evaluacin que pueden ilustrar de forma veraz:
Desde hace casi una dcada GolQuest instal una estacin meteorolgica en la zona del proyecto, colectando datos 24 horas/da, llevando control de la pluviometra; datos recientes al respecto arrojan unos entre 1,900 a 2,300 mm/ao de lluvia. Como informacin adicional, se tiene constantemente una supervisin y control de parmetros ambientales, usando como referencia no solo la normativa nacional, sino tambin parmetros internacionales; adems de la pluviometra, se realizar revisiones de flujos y caudales de corrientes superficies, parmetros hidroqumicos (pH, oxgeno disuelto, REDOX, controles bacteriolgicos, etc. Nos obstante el proyecto romero, de alcanzar la oportunidad de extraccin de metales, no contempla el uso de agua del ro San Juan, no uso de qumicos peligrosos, las operaciones sern desarrolladas de forma subterrnea partiendo de ciento cincuenta metros de profundidad, adems aclaramos que, mientras no sean realizados los estudios de impacto ambiental, es extemporneo, desacertado, mal intencionado, alguien con delirio de orculo del futuro o que tenga complejos de profeta que intenta descifrar eventos del porvenir, no es creble hablar o escribir sobre impactos negativos al medio ambiente, reitero hasta no contar con los resultados de un estudio de Impacto Ambiental.
Ms que impactar, nuestro deber es informar, tomando en cuenta la frase expresada por el fenecido emperador chino Mao Zedong, el que no investiga no tiene derecho a la opinin.
