Possible reasons for delay? GLTA!Possible reasons for this continued and very long delay:
1) Totally Political-Abinader is waiting for his second and final term as President?
2) Barrick Gold-" Listen Prez old boy....don't be in such a hurry to grant GQC any permits. We will pay you "taxes" up front and help you out. You can help us choke that lucky little bugger of a company out of money with the delay. Nothing corrupt about that...at least hard to prove?
3) Rich Dominicans-driving share price down with delay to grab cheap shares then sell on the pop?
4) GQC-Could GQC Mgt be in on this delay somehow?
5) Carribean Business-I know things are done slowly, but almost 8 years now?
6) Buyout-Behind the scenes, Barrick and Agnico have a buyout plan?
If anyone can think of any other motive for this ridiculous delay in providing a simple environmental study permit, in violation of their own laws, please let me know your thoughts. I just don't understand it.
