RE:IMO, water is the only issueThe water issue was to have
"never" (guaranteed) not only stop the development but even
"slow" the project. Which is what Jeff stated previously.
Jay Schlosser stated there is nothing stopping the project from moving forward, while the case is in front of the courts.
And yet 2 1/2 years later here we are.
There hasn't been an application to DRE for the public report since the annual renewal last year in February.
Why do you think Jeff is constantly going on about the case if it doesn't matter?
All this talk about having inside information related to AECOM's (not AECON by the way) study and that there is "lots of water". This point is absolutely irrelevant. Remember being told that the only information the judge can base his/her decision upon is the documents utilized to develop the Water Assessment and the EIR. (Administrative Record)
Nothing else.
What Jeff keeps referencing means nothing to the case.
If he wants to show that the Water Board is
“highly corrupt, compromised and dishonest public agency.” then he needs to present his findings to the proper authorities and have them proven, otherwise the court will not hear anything beyond the administrative record. The tossing of accusations about corrupt people has already been tried with the Montalva Project and really was not accepted that well.
The tune from management has changed in that "perhaps" the judgement could require a new Water Assessment. That's not completed overnight and they will have to make sure it is 100% "bang on" otherwise it's back in court. The decision could also be challenged in the appeals court if one party is not happy with the outcome. This becomes a "paralysis by analysis" issue related to the final outcome. But that has nothing to do with the project moving forward.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t_NSeN0yPwvMZeQ16zy1CflCczBz48oD/view The Transportation Impact Study recently completed utilizes a 3% growth rate for the City
through to 2042. It has been stated by Jeff, that there is enough water for Sage Ranch but nothing will be built after Sage Ranch. (Which I'm assuming includes the 28.75 acres that were originally purchased and have since been deeded to Paul Morris.) Greenbriar could use those funds for Sage Ranch.
3% growth rate to 2042?
Apparently that's not true?
I don't know what we are supposed too believe anymore.
"
So if we have the water, and the city wants Sage Ranch built, it is just a matter of time before shovels hit the ground. JMO". Your absolutely correct but the question is when will that be?
