P.R. Travel guidance

As we wait for PREPA/FOMB and various other acronyms in PR to make some decisions, does anyone have suggestions for travel in PR? 10 days probably 4-5 in San Juan and then another destination to see a lot of the island from? Will stick to the coastal areas. Looking at Cabo Rojo and Ricon and will drive to see other areas. Condado or Old San Juan? Any advice appreciated. Leaving in two weeks and hope to dodge hurricanes. Bars still closed but there should be some rum to be found!

thanks

CharlesRook, Great Information, and much appreciated! Who knows, maybe they will lift some of the Covid restrictions as we are leaving, but will be a fun trip either way. Will definitely hit the places you mentioned and have a few cuba libres/shirley temples as a toast for good luck to GRB. Thank you, and any other suggestions more than welcomed. John
