Pardon me?

In a statement on March 27, Development Services Director Jay Schlosser said the city was still processing submissions made by the developer.

“The Sage Ranch Phase I design package includes numerous separate design elements,” he said. “The majority have been ‘submitted’ to date and are in various states of review and response. This design package has not been approved as of the writing of this email. Once the package is approved, the applicant will be allowed to request a permit to begin construction.”

I don't know how GRB can start construction without a permit? Anyone?

My understanding is they require a grading and site services permit first before the issuance of any building permits. Perhaps they may issue the clubhouse permit early. The last I read permits are 30-60 days from submission.

Related to the clubhouse building permit. They require permit approvals from the fire department and I can't imagine them issuing a permit for the clubhouse if there is no water or roads to the middle of the overall project site for fire protection. Just a thought.
