RE:Takeover conversation i believe that takeover we're hoping for in the future will be for a large company to take GSI.V private. DD himself alluded to this when Honeywell bought out SIlent Witness at a premium where he and some other staff used to work at.

though I don't believe it will be as simple as that. DD stated himself he wanted to do something "a little bit different".
"Now, when Honeywell acquired Silent Witness for $72 million, they had to buy the whole company because all of their products were associated with one brand, Silent Witness. When I created Gatekeeper, I wanted to do something a little bit different. I wanted to create a technology platform that we could sub-license into different divisions under different brand names for specific markets that might have different requirements. By doing so, we maybe selling a somewhat similar product using a common platform with enhancements, which would meet requirements for different markets under a different brand name with different profit margins."

whatever happens I'm happy so long as GSI.V continues its growth. If anything I'd probably lean towards the leadership being more ambitious and grow to be a real behemoth on their own. But I won't say no to a takeover with a tasty premium..
