RE:RE:RE:Earnings News ReleaseWhy call it an anomaly? It means that GSI.V is still lacking recurring revenue. It's a smallcap where getting one additional (or less) contract the next year can significantly affect YoY change. Looks like many of GSI.V's customers are still hesitant to upgrade past a pilot project, hopefully it's because of COVID-19 and not because they're considering GSI.V's competitors.
GSI.V's balance sheet was strengthened a bit this quarter, but this strong balance sheet is both reassuring and vexing. It means there's no need for stock dlution to continue operations like most pennystocks, but that's also a lot of cash that could be used for faster growth during a time with low-interest loans and the urgency to land more contracts before their competitors do. Doesn't look fantastic for Q4 so far unless there's a big contract with TTC in the works right now.
Hard to make any interpretations past that since it's not like there's enough disclosed information from GSI.V or their competitors to make a judgement on how good their tech is (unlike how you can compare the tech between Intel vs TSMC vs Samsung for example). Are we in a value trap or in a future unicorn? Who knows? Just manage your risk properly.
