RE:Markets up big and GSI in the shi** ter

RE:Markets up big and GSI in the shi** terImmaterial.  GSI may sometimes follow the small cap index but even that's not predictable.  We simply don't  know what's going on and may not for one or two more quarters as the post-covid transit and stimulus situation (if there is to be such a thing) comes clear.  So really, there's  no reason to believe something has gone badly wrong.

My problem with these sh**y days is that we have now fallen far enough that a big bounce on news is not likely to bring us to gloryland or even break even for some, as the market is quite spooked by this silence.  The question becomes whether to average down yet again.  I'm inclined now to just hold on and recoup cash/take the minimal profit from recent share purchases upon reaching par and go back to relying on my core after that, ie., I still believe the story.
