RE:RE:Dyment is misleading us allIt definitely takes time for government contracts to come through. Sure, we see all these NFI bus deals, but how long has it been between NFI's RFQ submission and actually tendering the contract? Probably years.
Dough is telling us what he knows to be objective and factual. That the company has responded to $140MM of RFQs. How much of that is tendered to GSI as sales contracts, is anyone's guess.
Look, it is frustrating, I hear you. Also wishing for more transparency from the company, especially after the PP fiasco from this time last year. We were at $1.40/share a year ago. So definitely dissappointed with the outcome here.
But I sincerely believe we are in the process of securing some larger contracts and that any sales of the ALE system will be pure gravy for us. Quarters are choppy for sure though and investor sentiment in waning.
Many of us on the board, some of whom own more than 1% of shares outstanding, have said time and time again that Doug needs to beef up the sales team. It can't be a one man, rule-of-thumb game any more. I for one own over half a percent of the stock, and though I bought like 3 years ago and am still up 4x, I would still like to see the company grow over time.
