Not sure if this was posted sometimes they go out to subscribers first for a month. Says GSI will double in a 12 months well we did it in that month of June. So much for target prices. No body really knows.

Since there is confusion with the other gatekeeper and the fact that the nature of our business has changed rapidly into other areas of transit maybe we will get a name change along with a move to the Nas. Ok who can think of a glichy name for Doug to use.

In regards for a new name for Gatekeeper... how about Guardian Systems Inc. Still matches well with ticker GSI. Guardian- a defender, protector or keeper

Is gatekeeper thinking of changing ther name? or are we just speculating?

we are spectulating due to the fact that there are 2 gatekeeper systems. Same name but different businesses. Also I was thinking that since they have envolved to be so much more than a stop arm company it may be wise to have a better name that reflects where they are now and who buys their products.

At this stage we are certainly speculating. I might add that there are in fact more than two companies with names similar to Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (trading as GSI) that can cause confusion among market participants. There is not only the other company you seem to be referring to (Gatekeeper Systems® at https://www.gatekeepersystems.com/us/our-company) but there is also a company called

thanks JLEP16 good points yes I have come across all those companies and it is indeed confusing. A name is very important and can set a company apart from competition and it can also come up faster during online searches. They could always keep gatekeeper just for their school bus products as an option. Maybe Doug has already thought of it. But if someone comes up with a great name it could always

It would certainly be interesting to know whether this issue is under consideration by the Company. I’ve checked its website and according to various Annual Reports (MD&As), acquisitions and name changes have definitely been part of its history. Of course that could be said about other companies as well. However, what matters is the current situation.

but changing a company name is no small task. If they think its a good idea its probably wise  to lock it in and register the name before hand especially if they plan a future move to a US exchange. Only my opinion its up to management what they do. Also its sometimes easier to buy another company and just use that name. ProVision would be an example but maybe they are bigger than GSI and it

I did send an email pointing out the 3 different companies and the commonality of the names and web addresses and asked for a comment. I'll see if I get a response.

Good for you. Much appreciated. I had actually prepared the same type of message - asking the Company for feedback on this issue -- for delivery to the Company first thing tomorrow morning. I'll set that aside. Perhaps the Company has some strategy or plan to address this issue. I look forward to your sharing any response.

Thanks guys. Was hoping we could come up with some clever idea for Doug to consider. Its not a decision too be taken lightly. There needs to be strong motivation by management. I just went thru it with another company and it took over a year, affected just about every aspect of the company operations and I would be surprised if the price tag was under $100k. Personally I feel GSI has out grown the

It has now been a week. I did send two emails and got no response to either. Possibly they have a practice of not responding to emails or the subject of two or three companies with the same name are of no concern to them.

I also sent a note to the CEO of Route1 (V.ROI) who has an active license plate ID technology and pointed out the two Gatekeepers that have a similar tech. He said he was aware of both companies.
