Exchange upgrade scenario’s?

Hi all, first time posting but I've been lurking for a while. I'm sure this has been asked before but I'll take my chance anyways. I was wondering what options there are for a Canadian smallcap such as GSI. I'm from Europe so not to familiar with the scenery on the other side of the pond, haha!

Is a switch from TSX Venture to TSX 'regular' an option? Or is nasdaq the only listing upgrade worth the while? I looked at NASDAQ's uplisting requirements and they don't seem that far out of reach actually: https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/nasdaq-listing-requirements/

NASDAQ requirements seem quite steep. I'd be happy with GSI.V just uplisting on NYSE American instead. Providing a way for US investors to get it without going through OTC and allowing for some options trading would be fantastic for improving liquidity (irrc, some US brokers like Fidelity charge a hefty fee to buy and sell OTC tickers of foreign companies so it can be a dealbreaker).
