Back to the News release!

The significance of these types of contracts can easily be over looked.  We have Interior + Exterior Hardware, data management and shared ticket revenue from citations  (in other contracts 50% shared ticket revenue was mentioned and it appears to be a common theme [50% to Gatekeepers, 25% to the municipality and 25% to the police department]).  Additional Software applications are most likely to be added as time goes on.  Estimated ticket revenue is unknown at this time, but previous news articles mentioned an expected average of 1 ticket per camera per day. As contracts come in we will be able to confirm this number and better estimate revenue per camera.  What a great investment opportunity we all have in front of us!

It is extremely rare to have a company with such a solid foundation (contract revenue, ticket revenue, government funding for buyers, growing product line, no long term debt, positive cash flow, rockstar management - with experience with buyouts). It is even more rare to find a company in such state this early in its stage.  The growth potential is absolutely insane!

Gatekeeper Systems is just starting to get noticed, product line is increasing and margins are expected to rise, therefore,  I continue to hold tightly to my shares and plan to be here for a long time.

Thanks everyone for the great comments and by doing so keeping this board enjoyable and valuable, cheers!

I'm more interested in this statement "Gatekeeper has installed more than 34,000 intelligent mobile data collectors and 100,000 video devices on school buses, for over 3,500 school district customers." Does anyone know if they mentioned a total in an earlier news release? Could be great for figuring out how fast they're capturing this niche market. DD mentioned in an earlier ...more

*think I know where I went wrong. it's probably wrong to assume that 34,000 mobile data = 34,000 school buses. The actual number of school buses under GSI.V is less than that so the figure to focus here would be the 3,500 school district customers.. but then again how many school buses are there in each school district? Probably at least 10 right?

Great comments @ronron. There are roughly 200 school days.   Then add lane infraction citations on top of it all.  One would expect a higher ratio of tickets per camera per day with lane infraction.  It would be great to see a lane infraction contract.   Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it was @Ottawa10 that posted this earlier regarding lane infractions with SEPTA:  ...more

*also did some digging. I thought your "1 ticket per camera per day" sounded too good to be true, but I just googled this from one of GSI.V's competitors. It really is that frequent, wow.. "According to the 2013 National Stop-arm Violation Count conducted by the National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation (NASDPTS), over 108,000 school bus drivers in 29 ...more
