City of Philly Adding More Cameras - Remember CEO's Comments

Philadelphia is adding more external cameras on buildings (see link below for just one example) and remember CEO Dyment's commments from the recent interview:

A transit authority the size of SEPTA, we are a community partner in that area.  The deal with the Philadelphia public schools, pay attention to that.  That is an example of becoming a community partner and start to dominate........Transit, Schools, City.   Some of the announcements we're not allowed to put out.  We just don't have permission to do it.  If you see news in certain communities, certain major cities, there's probably something happening on a strategy build up.

Super exciting times are approaching IMO. Look into the future which is now. Surveillance cameras are a great start, but the really cool stuff is using all that data to predict future crimes (AI).  It's happening today and I hope GSI gets some of this action. U.S. news says they are down 50,000 bus drivers over the past year = 50,000 buses? That is a significant drop, and they have not defined the total reason -- all covid related or ??

I wouldn't say 50,000 drivers = 50,000 buses. There are different shifts. It sounds more like a crisis with labor shortages (same thing with truck drivers) rather than cities reducing their bus servives permanently It's a problem not just with transportation. It's covid related in the sense that no one wants to work when they're better off collecting free covid bucks from the
