Nice to see the forum alive
BUT it’s essentially the same commentary from the few active posters some of which can’t accept the fact that DD is in charge of this company and thus will run it the way he sees fit. He has never made a secret out of his approach to growth which hasn’t changed over the years and won’t change as long as he is in charge. He always has been and always will be a pragmatic. Arguing against or complaining about his pragmatism is a waste of time.
As shareholders of a public company we have a simple and easy choice: Buy into his vision or don’t which means either hold, buy or sell. No one is forced to hang on to an investment they are unhappy with.
I for one only invest in microcaps led by people whose approach to building companies reflects my own. Steady growth without unnecessary risk.
So, GSI will never be the industry leader. So what? The pie is large enough to catapult GSI into a very steady and profitable company.
As for the takeover stuff. Don’t just look at DD’s stake. There is a lot of power behind him.
