I just received the cash component in my account as well as a company with an equal no of shares of a single company called Gateway Resources which is obviously either an error or just a representative company.

ditto..thats the removal of your galway (GWY) shares but they got the name wrong..lol. they'll fix it up..at least the cash can be used now (i transferred some out of my brokerage account with no problem)

I have Itrade and contacted them about the delay, particularly in view of so many posters having received cash and shares. They advise that they have not received funds or shares yet, and that it can take 2 to 3 weeks as previously posted by someone else. I am perplexed over the different result experienced by us.

agreed oldtimer .if i am not able to buy or sell spincos at the same moment as everyone else i will be furious

Well oldtimer  the lad I was talking to at ITrde said it should take 5 to 10 days and that was on the 31st so he said I should see the money any time now but still nothing yet, We'll see what happens in the morning. G

the deal closed Dec 20..so 5 to 10 days is correct given its Xmas also..i'm sure everyone will have their shares and money before the spinco's can trade

I find myself perplexed as well.  I held Galway within two different brokerage accounts.  I received my cash from Fidelity account  in USA  with no shares of spincos yet and have received nothing from (my soon to be ex broker, USA).  As my tax planning was dependent on this transaction being taxed in 2012 vs 2013 I am quite annoyed.  I would have sold
