Lehigh Hanson would be a great fit for HBK. They have plenty of money and knowledge.
if memory serves HBK never intended to run the quarry, rather barge rough aggragrate over and let others process it. L.S.has their own barges and could barge to Richmond.
HBK are strapped for money and would need a partner to get into serious production, but why would a "Major" JV when they could go it alone. what else can HBK management offer?
interestingly the Dec. 23 NR read "moving Swamp Point North forward" it didn't say moving Highbank Resources forward!!
The Recent MOU indicates that management is looking forward to a new adventure.....likely leaving SPN behind.
Appears like a Buy Out imo.
