I would add the following on the workings of government officials.
The Harper government MPs jumped to their feet in Parliament and screamed HYPOCRYTE and BIGOT while pointing their fingers at an opposition MP who rose to speak on immigration. This stifled the oppostion and effectively rendered our democracy non-functional. Further more it wouild stifle the Canadian people and press from broaching the topic . So much for a democratic and free people.

That is the floor of our House of Commons of the Canadian Parliament. Those who sit their do so only with our consent. I do not believe that either of these governments deserved(Harper) or now deserve(Trudeau) to be representing the people of Canada. I do not feel that I can freely discuss my thoughts,observations.ideas when you have you are being served by people who would dirty the floor of the people's legislature. It belongs to us, the people, not some cronies who would shut down free speach by tactics that I can recall from WW2 Germany. I believe both those leaders should be called to task over this manner of governing and apologise to the people and the press. Perhaps, they should both to so by writing on,"What democracy means to me, and, how I would propose to maintain and further it in our nation?"
Their inadequacies in running the country are scary enough let alone the fear of a "SHUT UP GOVERNMENT".
