like I said, I'm just reading between the lines here. Yes sure they can switch to something else. But that doesn't come without issues. I can only speculate what those issues are;
1. It's not like flipping a switch, reconfiguring hardware costs million is software and hardware reconfiguations
2. Other cryptos are not as profitable. Or even more importantly, other cryptos may not have a future.. BTC and ETH are the only cryptos that have solidified a future. Choosing another crypto is risky, who knows which ones will survive.
3. Switching to Data centers is viable but probably not as profitable and highly completive.
Just guessing here but like I said, I'm just listening to the eth miners and they ain't happy. So, why would you as investor be so optimistic if the miners aren't?
