RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What the ? Why insiders were selling ?There are a million reasons to sell in this world. In a good small company(such as HPQ, for example), often times the monetary compensation of the directors is kept low for operating reasons, while they are given an incentive to perform and earn more by using warrants, options, and other forms of stock in the company.
Just because you and I might not have a mortgage to pay off, a sick family member, a vacation, or a car to purchase this week, doesn;t mean one of them doesn't.
As for me? I'm a buyer. Not even batting an eye on that. I'm a buyer right now at everything under $2.00. The difference for me right now is that I am free from employment, and at this juncture in life my incestments in HPQ are here to grow for (hopefully) the long term future. I am fortunate enough to be able to afford to wait for a few years before I take profits, if that is the right thing for me to do at the time.
Good for anybody who sells, and good for anybody profits!
I DO NOT use insider selling as a method to measure future instrinsic value of a company.
Cheers!
