RE:It's a material world !Just bought a Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid myself, take delivery Saturday morning. Wanted a full on EV but not enough of a selection of models from all manufacturers. Plus we do an awful lot of long trips, and am not impatient enough to stop for the time it takes to charge up.
Hopefully in the next couple of years we will see the manufacturers roll out more models to select from.
This year will see if HPQ is the real thing or a failed R & D that will just shift into doing something else from trying to convert quartz to silicon.
