Commissioning?

Sorry to ask, but can someone explain what comissioning means in regard to the Gen 3. I've read the news release and watched the interview and i still don't understand. Is the reactor finished and ready spit out material or are they still putting it together? We are not going to find out that a month from now that the cord to plug into the wall socket was to short and are waiting for an extension cord. I'm only asking is because our spare price only went up 2 cents. i thought this was suppose to be great news.

They received the final parts they were waiting for to complete the pilot plant. Now they will start the plant up and run through their various checks and tests to ensure it is running properly. Once that is complete they will start producing material. The material will be sent to third paties to be tested and assessed for quality and purity, and they will do various tweaks to refine the process ...more

Think you're wrong.  The individual silos(subsidiaries) of HPQ will be sold off before any revenue realization.  This means that we could begin to see dramatic sp movement on validation confirmation and/or completion of a phase.  Just my opinion.

Ya, well, not exactly.  Your first few sentences are correct, but they already have orders from a major manufacturer and NDA's from two others, scaleability is months away not years.  The leg work regarding samples etc. is pretty much complete at this point.

Production plant is years away. They will be able to scale up a little bit with the pilot plants,.

How closely have you been following HPQ technology? You should know that HPQ is not planning a massive plant (30,000MTY) for production. Instead, they will scale up in modules, min 2500MTY with 80-90% less minimum investment that a 'conventional' plant. Spend a bit of time reviewing HPQ's corporate deck. Bernard also refers to the 'old vs new' way to scale up in latest ...more

I heard the cord was on one of those 100 container ships in L.A./Long Beach harbour and at 15,000 containers per ship (1.5M containers) it may take a while to find it, and then try to find a truck to put it on, to take it to a plane, to fly it to Quebec. :-))
