RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Heliostar Samples 1,428 g/t AgEq/1.2 Metres, Expands 1,100%Unga,
Great memory regarding the gold price affecting the miners during Ball's tenure. That was the last time I bought gold and it was near $1025-$1050 usd an ounce. Now getting ready to buy again.
But yah, as I thought about it I think Redstar actually had 30% or so in NV Gold. It was 50% in the Newman Todd Canadian group/property.
I know the drilling in Nevada during Ball's term with Redstar was successful. It was the original Redstar CEO-who died--that helped get all those Nevada mining/geological studies which were done by some Majors/miners, and became NV Gold's propery, with which the drilling done during Ball's Redstar term were based on. So I never put any value on Ball for the success, rather the MASSIVE number of some of the Major mining companies studies/results that were miraculously bought for a song along with the Nevada properties. I believe those studies of Nevada geology by the big boys, which got left with one of the major's smaller partners as I remember and forgotten about, are the true reason for NV Gold's success--not Ball's expertise.
But now, with Ball as NV Gold's CEO it looks their doing quite well. So maybe it's just that Ball is better suited for only low-sulfidation epithermal gold and sediment-hosted Carlin-type deposits.
