Just inflation news or maybe shorts?

As the USA is seeing the great Ape Army fight against the large bankers and wall street thugs who have maintained a rigged game against us retail investors. As the Apes, now about 4 million strong catch the bigs in their shorting stocks and ruining good companies, driving their stock value to horrifying lows, only to make massive $$$ and watch the hard working retail investors get thrown to the curb and lose valuable, well-researched positions in good companies, the Apes are now relentless and it's a beautiful thing.

@HarrySassoon They shorted it at the highs, because, well.........why not.

@rose7654 In the last 6 minutes of trading CIBC decided “why sell at 1.53 when I can sell at 1.48”

My previous post did not process this part: I am posting these posts from another site. These are postings about Heliostar today.  The site is: https://ceo.ca/hstr?e9a114fd1919 Our Unga posted this site for our benefit yesterday also.

I think the gap was $1.33 Im not a technician so I'm wondering if the gap theory works with low volume stocks.
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 17, 2021 1:25pm
Dude, sorry, I can't answer that good question. I don't know! shorts can also offer prospective "buyers if you will" a better position, as just a thought.
Comment by dude96 on Jun 17, 2021 1:51pm
I checked the short positions and relative to the float it's low imho.  Tell me more about high sulfidation  Is it that it's deeper or is just about the mineralization? TIA
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 17, 2021 2:08pm
Dude, I'm not a geologist-have stated this before--so all can know I'm just a basic investor here. I did go to geology school but never finished my senior year at University. I am a rock hound and gem enthusiast.  But from postings months ago about high, medium and low sulphidation that post had photos which help in understanding these epithermal events. But to my way of thinking, it ...more

You sound very knowledgeable.  You're basically a geologist.  You should give Funk a call to discuss.
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 17, 2021 2:39pm
Deep, our great Deep, I'm thinking that we should be administered a sobriety test with our posts. Like a 1-5 test as in I'm at a 5 and every post sounds good to me now.  And as facts go in this life I wouldn't be able to pass the freshman-1st year geology class now.  You folks in here along with those on that other site posted earlier all give great insights.

I use money supply data to gauge price of gold.  $1650 would be equivalent to a 10 year low, so I'm not too worried about that.  I think 1 Moz is a slam dunk here.  I think the "real" goal is 2 Moz+. Should have a good idea of that by end of summer.
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 17, 2021 3:18pm
Deep, thanks for that insight on the gold measure. Totally on board with your 2Moz projection and on the corporate website in the corp. presentation they show an expected 500-1M ounce Unga this summer and a 500-1.5Moz for Apollo. Those high sides--and Funk is always projecting lower-high estimates--bring to 2.5Moz. Does not even include Aquila or Centennial or well, you know, Mexico someday soon ...more

Targets: Apollo 500-1.5 SH-1 at 500-1 Nothing yet for Aquila, Centenial, Zachary Bay Then there's Mexico.
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 17, 2021 1:49pm
Dude, as just an answer, best I can--I'm not a savvy gap/day trader in this type---but yesterday's close (meaning the gap price is filled) was $1.20usd (1.48 Canadian) on the NYSE. But I know the Canadian exchange closed lower and I don't have that number but sounds your $1.33 is about right.
Comment by dude96 on Jun 18, 2021 9:13am
I'm traveling so I haven't had time to read all of the posts If you go to the chart and switch to candlestick then tap the specific candle  it will show the price action of that day
Comment by dude96 on Jun 18, 2021 9:22am
The incredible thing is they are more excited about Apollo  and this is what they pulled out of Shumagin  Selected drill highlights from the Shumagin Gold Zone**: Hole# From(meters) To(meters) CoreLength1(meters) Gold Grade(g/t) Silver Grade(g/t) DDH-26 49.07 49.83 0 ...more

I found that Shumagin table when I was searching for Hedenquist's report.  Since I'm time crunched I didn't spend a lot of time looking  but I'm pretty sure Hedenquist said it is an intermediate sulfidatuon deposit  I've heard Funk use low and high also so I think there is some of  that mixed in.
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 18, 2021 10:00am
Dude,  So previous Redstar group=low and intermediate sulphidation epithermal structure main geological theory/plan/assumptions/drill results/ Heliostar group believed potential high sulphidation also. Ergo shallower drilling complimented with shorter-maybe 50 foot step outs drilled compared to Redstar's usual maybe 500 foot step outs drilled, So Unga runs the low to high.  Then ...more

Just so we don't get our wires crossed  I've heard Funk say low and high(I'm sure along with intermediate) so that's the reason for the sentence in my post  I put the chart up because it's just incredible that they think Apollo  is better. I AM NOT arguing with them in any way. It's just wild to see those grade. I know they are short but wow what do ...more

Yeppers Dude. Absolutely understand and NEVER meant to suggest I differed from your researched Redstar documents, etc. or anything sulphidation. You were spot on. Was trying to corroborate your presentation of the nice previous results over the years and just thought would talk a bit about the Redstar and Heliostar geological theoretical differences on epithermal zones, as these are playing out to ...more

It's incredible  I can't tell you how glad I am to finally get this thing started.  I didn't know him but I heard Scott Weeks was a very good guy.  Looks like his vision is starting to unfold into reality.
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 18, 2021 11:29am
OMG yessssssssss. Scott Weeks!!!! Great point Dude.  It was HIS Redstar work and vision and assistance for getting the major mining company in  Nevada's documentation--drill results/mapping/geochistry/etc. that were forgotten about and remained in a smaller, partnering company--can't remember who it was-sorry, for the Redstar group and Nevada affiliation group. They bought out ...more

Posting this post primarily as another poster from the site  https://ceo.ca/hstr?e9a114fd1919 did another nice job of breaking things down. Crux interview was pretty tough.  At one point Funk started talking multimillion oz, and interviewer slapped him back a bit.  Funk needs warrants to vest for Mexico drilling, but he's going to have to give more results first.  Also asked why the drills aren't turning 24/7, which is a good question.
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 18, 2021 1:32pm
Was interesting for the first time in an interview--at least any I've seen-- Funk said the 4 million ounce portential as he added up some of the individual target mines potential, but yah Deep, I liked this interviewer keeping C. Funk on target with the first 1Moz target and timeline. Liked the institutional and retail balance is getting good. The point either Unga or Deep mentioned ...more

Yeah, that's it.  I think it will become crystal clear soon enough that 1 million is floor.

Gem, I think I read somewhere on this thread that getting a re-rating after the core has gone through the lab, does take time. Would you have an idea how long it usually takes in the best case scenerio?
Comment by gemcutter on Jun 18, 2021 8:50pm
Sorry Unga, not sure. From the C. Funk interviews it sounds to me, IMHO, that he's wanting a re-rating after the summer Unga property & I believe some Centential also included in the 7000+ drillings, before going ahead with any Mexico drilling. So I would GUESS sometime this early fall.  Sorry can't help better on this topic Unga.
Comment by dude96 on Jun 19, 2021 2:27am
Unga  I don't know if this is what you mean but I did see something that  since it was course gold they have to look at it again. The g/t have  a chance of going up.

Unga, I signed up for the webinar. On the sign up page it allows to write a question that hopefully will be addressed in the webinar.  I asked 2 questions: (1)Will there be a copy/recording of the seminar made available on the website? (2) Is there a general timeline for a hopeful/expected re-rating?
Comment by dude96 on Jun 20, 2021 2:06am
For question #2's answer look at 22:33 gone on the video you  put up.

Dude, thanks for the note on the mid-summer of 2022 timeline. Your awesome. I'm hoping in the webinar that the question's answer will give details on further investment needed to secure the remaining 13,000 metres drilling---It has been by contention they have wanted a 20,000 meter drill program ASAP soon after the October of 2020 merger. We're just ending the 7000+ meter drilling this ...more

I'm thinking that the  cheapest way to get into production would be to expand the Centennial deposit to say 3 or 400,000 ounces (drill the feeder zones) and put a heap-leach  deposit into production.Would be fairly cheap and low cost.Normally a gold stocks valuation is around  $200,000,000/ million ounces.
Comment by deepthinker63 on Jun 20, 2021 6:19pm
Pretty decent idea, except they haven't touched it yet.  They're going for the big scores.
Comment by Ungawatcher on Jun 17, 2021 1:29pm
Gemcutter, My impression with Heliostar's progress, will mean the share price will trend up, but with more volitality. I think we'll see higher highs and the lows will be higher as well. I think yesterday's high was like $1.80 and now the stock is around $1.30 which may not drop much lower. (compared to about $1.10 a week ago) Probably the next high wil break above the $2.00 ...more

Unga, your assesment sounds good. But in my experience with maybe only 10 different juniors that have hit good results after a prolonged holding pattern, I have not seen this dramatic of a leveling off so quickly or at this amount of a percent of share price.  There is NO company news about bad cash flow or any other thing simultaneous negative news while achieving the very, very good news ...more

Gem, It might have been better that Heliostar didn't halt trading, because the shorts wouldn't have been able to jump in early. They got in low then sold when the share price jumped 25% and there were buyers scooping up those shares.  I agree the share price is going to rise and the more it rises will mean the pull backs won't be as dramatic as the shorts and daytraders won ...more

Also a horrible 2 days for gold. Selfishly happy as I have not had a chance to add more shares yet

Yah, not too many on the ask anymore it looks. Just erased a diatribe on negatives could be reasons for this not bottoming at near yesterdays highs. Glass half full for now. But also could be there would have been another 500,000 in volumn if not for the 'everything gold' exodus yesterday with the 2023 interest rate increases--which by the way are tiny---noted from the Fed.
