Did Newmont court Goldcorp for a year of negotiations? Who was aware of these discussions and when? Were any shareholders aware of IDM intent to seek strategic alternatives, from the IDM or Ascot side? . 

Might IDM have disclosed this material information since it is clear that they mislead investors on their intent to carry forward, all the while diluting the share base to keep proving up reserves for the benefit of Ascot. The shenanigans that went down in Q4 deserves a chapter on its won. 

Some major investors might come to our aide with a proxy battle and an alternate plan of arrangement. I have voted NO along with a few others. I would welcome a new board and displace the losers that are currently sitting on IDM board. Resignations will be flying faster than a liberal cabinet minister if an investigation is launched. 

Those that are content with the current SP can vote in favor and take your lickings, meanwhile my shares are available to support major shareholders who want to dissent. I have been successful with this appraoch before but it took some bigger investors to lead the coup.
