RE:respect
RE:respect Thanks pienter. I’m sure Brad is following the board. I’ve said this before, imo Input is purposeful providing the bare minimum for a publicly traded company in the way of communication to keep the stock price down for the very reason of retiring stock at the lowest price. Doing so is the best way to drive up book value per share. Driving up the stock price now would severely limit the potential of the highest eventual final book value per share.
But eventually the share price will approach book value as the assets are either cash or canola interests that will be converted to cash soon. One way or other, likely from a liquidation dividend, shareholders will be paid. And the book value per share will certainly exceed $1.40 and possibly exceed $1.60 by the end. The float is now under 40 million shares so it won’t take long before the share price takes off. It won’t happen necessarily in a few months but it won’t takes years.
This is why I would love to see one more SIB very soon in order to quickly retire a substantial number of shares at current prices.
For these reasons Input offers a low-risk investment in an increasingly risky stock market. All of this is JMHO.
