Why I will not post on stockboards anymore

I like in principle the idea of sharing information and the ability of like minded people to have a gathering place to share thoughts and experience. I belong to a number of newsgroups where people who have a passion for a similar hobby congregate and share their passion. I feel rewarded when I make a contribution that helps someone else solve a problem or avoid one that I have made. I appreciate the time others spend and the whole experience is enriching. Posting on stockhouse has not added value to my internet experience and I do not think overall I have enhanced the experience of others to the same degree. Posting that I have sold a stock for a profit and mocking others for not doing the same is not only not character building it is just plain immature. (For the record I did not nor have I ever had a short position in itemus stock) Also being critical of fellow Canadians for going for it is just unpatriotic! Why are Canadians the first to put each other down? I think the whole hyper/basher thing is the undoing here. I think sometimes the hypers are in posession of the facts and other times I think the bashers have it right. Only the principles in the company know for sure. I have decided that I am in no position to contribute in a positive way and by that I mean I dont know what the facts are.. so to just criticise, guess, mock, or hype is just plain stupid and no one benefits. In closing I wish everyone the best of luck in all their investments.
