RE:Opinion: Hype it upWith the company operating on a shoestring budget, I don't believe marketing for hype purposes is a corporate goal. Sure, if they need to raise capital and want to minimize dilution, then a marketing blitz can temporarily and artificially raise the stock price to accomplish that, while also allowing short-term traders and profiteers to make buck and move on. That's all part of operating within the public markets, but still, I don't believe that IVS management has that as a goal, much less a consideration.
The best marketing the company can do is provide drill results or head grades where industry people and publications have to take notice. That is what happened in the past, and that is what brought in the likes of Rob McEwen and Eric Sprott. Those names alone are the best marketing campaign a company can have.
