"relatively low energy density and poor performance"  vs Price.... Price will win every time. Buffet new this. Elon learned this. And Ford is copying this.

That article was published 1.5 years ago. Since then, BYD has become the number #1 EV maker in the world with LFP, Tesla has successfully embraced LFP with the Model Y having 270 range, FORD has embrased LFP, and Tesla has transitioned to the new 4860's being delivered in Austin and Berlin (...and Solid State is expected by 2025).  Additionally, the US Goverment has published it's plan to support the erradication of  Cobalt from EV batteries.

The ol' adage... don't fall in love with your stock.
