PDAC curseAuthor: Kip Keen

" I don't see it yet, the so-called PDAC-curse when juniors are sold off by markets around the Prospectors and Developers Association Canada's annual conference in Toronto gearing up this weekend. The week or so leading into PDAC was, overall, fairly positive for juniors. There was some selling off on Wednesday but otherwise juniors made gains, bringing the S&P/Venture Composite Index up close to recent highs. The price of gold - so critical to the fate of juniors and lately on the up - no doubt helped out juniors' cause heading into PDAC. So have some notable drilling results in uranium and gold especially."
The above quote is from a recent article on Mineweb and the author discusses what some have dubbed the PDAC curse.
Upward movement of share valuation going into the show with a dramatic fall in value shortly after the show. The curse.
As we all know, most of us look to the juniors for news heading into the PDAC show. We have seen some significant news by some and we have seen what I would call window dressing by others.
KBG on the other hand has been very quiet with news heading into the PDAC show and they seem more focused on moving things forward with the bulk sample that is coming soon on the Menary property than anything else.
After nearly 4 years of investigating the Rainy River area I can state that I believe the Best is Yet to Come.
One person I spoke to recently (not KBG management) suggested to me that a number of big players have been quietly eyeing this emerging district.
KBG management have quietly strentghened their position in the area and I have identified other properties that I see as ones of interest nearby.
I recently identified one property that was recently dropped by another junior due to the financial difficulties they were facing.
My point here is there is much more interest building in the district than meets the eye in my opinion and 2014-2015 may lead to new players moving into the area.
The whole story reminds me of one of my favorite monies. The Hunt for The Red October.
Little clues leads one to big finds.
