This is a Bought Deal meaning that we have money in the  bank and an institution (our first) backing us up. They will defend the share price. With our first institution promoting us, we will also get a lot more coverage. Better this than staying virtually 100% retail as we are now.   All is good - Chill !!

I totally agree with NoBaloney here.  This PP is HUGE FANTASTIC NEWS for CYP!!! At most, this means just 20M shares dilution if oversubscribed by 15% (20% addition to the outstanding shares), and $10M in the kitty that pays for the Pilot Plant with money to spare.  Plus also having a major institution behind us, puts CYP in the BIG LEAGUES right alongside LAC and even ALB.  Who

I agree with your statement. If the price stays and moves ahead!! That is very bullish for us. It will never see that again! However, it's hard to be over optimistic! Dilution is painful but necessary.

Hopefully we follow in the footsteps of Graphite One v.GPH, which is also in the EV game. It did a private placement at $.78  4 days ago when it was trading at around $1.10. Today it closed at $2.00. I have been in CYP since forever and had not been a happy camper until recently. I am only just recently getting some of that excitement back and buying more. GLTA.

I would take some of the deal at $1.25 with long term warrant at $1.75, but would have to open a manged account with them, would guess that anyway, you gotta join the club to get in on the offerring. Anyway, another great example with GPH, wish I bought some of thet one!  In any event I think the people who get these CYP shares are getting a darn good deal.  They will do well.  Or

Totally agree with you. Getting our first institution is huge. I don't think that these naysayers really understand the positive implications. BTW, retail investors just don't get in on Bought Deals - anywhere. If you had $8.5 million to buy just one stock, you'd be an institution too. And with the overallotment provision, we get $10 million, enough to finance the pilot plant

I see this as positive as well.  Not sure why the large discount but it is money in the bank to get to the next phase.  It will grab attention as well.  $2 by the end of the month

Yes, we all new this was coming and inevitable. I was hoping for $1.50 financing, but if you had asked me 6 months ago, I would have been happy with a 60 cent financing, so lets keep perspective. As for share price, I expect a dip tomorrow, but then a gradual recovery and settling in the $1.50 to $1.75 range for a bit, or we could pull a Rock Tech Lithium. where they financed in early January for

We all agree that CYP needs to raise funds for its pilot plant, and just at what SP? This fund raising shows the weak management, they missed the oppuntunity to raise money at higher SP.  the current SP is 1.51, the new offer is 1.25, 17% reduction, typically 10%. Also 1 equity + 1 warrant is for good for the offerer, but not for the existing investors.  Typically it is 1/2 warrant

Well said Coop, better than a stick in the eye for sure.  Also, PI might be a good partner for awhile, if they can sell shares to clients beyond the bought deal, hopefully the demand is strong we trend upward after resetting to $1.25 in the morning, or will it?  Down for sure, have to see how it plays out but longer term, PI can hopefully get us more people in the stock within managed

Hey GoalLine18, look at it this way: Bought Deal at $1.25 and warrants at $1.75. Average is $1.50 and guess where we finished today - $1.51. Pretty darn close. Yes, agree $2 by end of month easy.

That logic makes a lot of sense, so may not see below $1.40 any further. Hey Bob, Rock is in Lithium here in Canada . Also, ACDC announced a PP and look what they did today , up 150% so anything is possible going forward, but at least cash is not a problem going forward.  I fully expect ALB will wait intil pilot proves out and then BOOM< make the move between $3 and $10 share. JUST IMHO .
